    c120 automatic has no power

    my dad has wheel horse c120 automatic with a snow/dozzer blade. and a couple years ago my brother used it and said it would not move easily by it's self, so we loosned up the motor mounts and pulled the motor foreward and it fixed it for a while. but its loosing power in foreward but you can spin the wheels in reverse. dose anybody think it could it be the belt or the hydro?

    I am no expert by any means with these babies, but, I am struck by the symptoms that the belt is stretched to the end of its life..
    Now, if a belt or the transmission, I would not either buy nor condemn the transmission until I knew that the belt was good.
    Belt = $20 or so
    Trans = $200 or so.

    This type of trans will work practically off of just rubber bands! Lol! Did you check the belt? The belt tensioner can also cause these same symptoms but it's more than likely a hydro pump getting weak. Check the fluid level and correct as needed.
