I have a zero turn yard machine and this last year it started not pulling up even small hills. It even sometimes has a hard time on level ground and sometimes it don't give me any trouble and works just fine. when it does start acting up it makes a whining noise to me it sounds like low hydraulic fluid or something if any body has any ideas it would be appreciated

I don't know much about this kind of stuff, but I would suggest checking to see if the hydraulic fluid is low, since you think that is what it might be. If I had a problem, I would check what I think might be causing the problem, and then go from there.

You don't say how old your unit is. Have you changed the belt in the last three years. Belt could be worn or stretched.

I think its a 07 model. I have never replaced the drive belts on it may give it a try. Does anyone know what kind of fluid a ztr takes and how to check it?
