Thought I'd better get on here and introduce myself, seeing as how I just used went through major problem solving on my old Craftsman with an M18. Thank you to the experienced posters to help me solve it. I live just down the road from one of the major MTD manufacturing plants, and when they discontinue product NOS goes down the road about 10 minutes to a surplus store. Makes for a useful place to find parts like bushings, springs, steering parts, etc.
My fantasy: To find an old Hahn Pow-R-Pro push mower. Does anybody these days build a push mower with the engine mounted between the rear wheels?
