Not necessarily.... Normally you would Not have a choice between these 2 engines for the same machine...
If you are trying to choose two different, but similar, things, like tractors... There are good ones with each engine... I myself would favor the Kubota, from what I have seen, Kubota is a bit better...But it is usually slightly higher priced for the same output....
You will likely find both to be very reliable & trouble free.... :smile:Kenny
I am considering a front mount mower. Grasshopper has the Kudota 25 horse and Snapper has a 30 horse Yanmar. THe Snapper is about $2,800 lease expensive and has similar specs as the grasshopper.
