After 3 long years of problems with the Recharge G2, my wife and I decided to cut our losses and dismantle it for parts. (see my FS thread or PM me if interested).
I am now searching for a vintage '70s electric riding mower like the Cub Cadet 95 (my Dad had one, new, back in the day) or a John Deere 96, to mow our 1-acre lawn. It has to be functional and in good condition.
We live in the West Suburban Chicago area so it would need to be somewhat local within 50-60 miles ideally.
I was on craigslist in Chicago area last week and there was a guy selling an electric mower for 200 bucks. I don't know if its still available but good luck. And yes it was a rider also ebay has a john deere electric up in auction.
