I am in the process of changing my PTO belt, but when I lifted up the seat I found this hose next to the engine fan (Pictures 1 and 2). I can't find where it attaches and am thinking it might have been left over from a previous shop repair. Any Thoughts?
I also notice this hose (picture 3) appears to attach nowhere. I am assuming it is just a drainage hose. Is this correct?

I worked for a large company at one time. They had a automatic water battery fill systems. That hose looks just like one of the fill hoses to that system??
Judging from the colour it has been used for hot liquids.
And from the amount of crud stuck on the outside.
I would go for an oil drain tube from an oil removal pump
