I like pushing my yard, but this 21" just takes too long. This craftsman should be a fine mower. The reviews are not that great. I have read that it is really a cub cadet with a different motor.

I am not looking to spend $2500 to $4000 walk behind with a only a 36". This is just for my home. I may look around for a good used mower.

Hello ...
If your user name reflects what you do... I will guess you should be able to evaluate the structural soundness of a machine.

This is a very light duty, large size walk behind mower... If you think it will handle your purpose great... BUT like you said it has rather poor reviews, from people that actually have bought them...
The weakness seems to be the less than necessary frame:thumbdown:...

I agree with your look closer at USED... a good used piece of equipment is FAR better than a poorly engineered/built new model... :smile:KennyV

I agree with Kenny, but just watch for pro units that have been used to the end of their effective life...

How good is that Commercial Cub Cadet 36 inch mower? I didn't have the serial number with me but I spoke to a rep at CC and she said w/o the model it's hard to tell but she thinks they stop making them 8-10 years ago is that possible? I don't want to buy a lemon
