Using Alcohol To Clean Fuel System

Has anyone ever used alcohol to clean the carb and fuel lines in your mower? Brother has an old Snapper mower that's running a bit rough. I told him to try alcohol. I use it in my car all the time, to keep the lines and carb clean. Anyone else use alcohol in their mower?

They serve alcohol in the fuel I buy at the gas stations...
But if I need anything additional, I use my favorite injector cleaner annually...:smile:KennyV

Carby cleaner is good for throttle bodies or just 2 strokes via the carby..........works a treat:eek:
