I have an uneven yard that slopes back and I was wondering how to make it to where it won't flood when it rains? I live on a dirt road and there are houses right behind mine. Am I just going to have to live with it or is there some kind of drainage that I can do?

Others may have suggestions about how to fill it, but I would offer this. In my area if certain slopes or ditches are filled it messes up the area drainage and causes water to back up into the basements when it rains.

With water there are only two basic things you can do... elevate out of it or make provisions for it to drain some where,

your drains can either be above grade or below, like a french drain... KennyV
