I'm obviously new so please excuse my lacking of process. I have troybilt bronco mdl # 13wv78ks011 that I'm having problems with the variable speed. Changed the upper bet which burned up and now will not accelerate. I did not change the main motion belt it appears to be in good shape. Is there a site where I can get a free maintenance/repair manual for this model.

I'm going to move your thread over to our Troy-Bilt section to see if we can find you some information.
Sounds like the variable speed pulley is jambed and not sliding easily on the shaft.
There are very few manuals but all varispeed systems work the same ( except Stiga )
So the current manuals downloadable from the troy built web age will be fine .
Google "MTD Must Have Manual of outdoor Power Equipment" Book 2
You can usually find one as a free download
