Hi- nice forum. Look like there is enough information here to keep me on the same mower for years to come.
My problem- a couple of weks ago, I was mowing, and suddenly, I was not able to go forward or backward. I figured itt had broken a spring for the drive belt pulleys. The next day, I went back out and found the broken spring laying behind the mower. So, I was right. I took the spring to the store, matched it up with an indentical one, and came home. Now- the question I have- where does it hook in on each end?
according to this diagram, it is part C20

Part number 20 has a circle C pointed to on one end. The C corresponds to the area on the frame with the circle C pointed to.
