transmission will not work

I have a craftsman riding mower model 917270821. Will not move when put in gear. Purged the line per owners manual and finally got it moving but its stopped and will not go forward or reverse.

Check to see that the motion relief arm is pushed all the way in. Work it back and forth a few times.

Does the clutch pedal have full travel when you push it in with your left foot? Sometimes debris can accumulate under the mower under the frame and prevent the pedal from moving far enough to engage the drive belt.
