Can anyone tell me if a Peerless 920 005A can be used to replace a Peerless 801 060? Found the 920 for cheap but haven't had any luck finding the 801...HELP!?!?!?!?

When I transplanted a Dana with a Peerless, I googled Peerless transaxles & found a ph #, & was able to speak to a Tech,.
My swap was simple & long ago, sorry I no longer have that phone number or that mower.
Also you can check some basics as, it is a "push or pull" type brake system. I had to convert the one I did, but that was simple.
Then check the drive pulley shaft to see if it is same size. Are the axles same size, & a they keyed same as yours.
Measure bolt holes for mounting, linkage brackets etc,.
