Trying to decide, should I stick with the old recommendation from Toro manual and use standard 10w30 motor oil, synthetic motor oil or should I use a hydraulic oil ? Not concerned about the cost. I just want my machine to last as long as possible. Already changed the engine oil to Amsoil Diesel 10w30.

I would stick with what they recommend. If it is like my Deere they use that fluid to run the hydraulic lift and anything you can bolt to the front of it.
