My battery was purchased April, 2016.
Is there something wrong with my battery that's it blowing fuses?

You can get the battery tested at any auto parts store for free. It will most likely not be your battery but a wire that is touching the frame that has worn through.
A battery has nothing to do with blowing fuses. A fuse has a amperage rating and for some reason you are drawing more amperage then what the fuse is rated for?? There can be many reasons this can happen. Such as stated earlier a bad wire. If you can't find the reason you will need a wiring diagram.
If it is a blade fuse, you can buy blade fuse replacement breakers.
Simple bi-metallic strip so not particularly accurate regards triping amps but real handy for running down a short.
And the age old question
Are you connecting the battery the right way round ?
