Well, here is a status update on the 10323 duraforce. I took it apart and cleaned up the deck and took it down to the media blaster. The media blasting went well but the steel mower deck is in far worse shape than it appeared. I found 3 pin holes where rust had gotten through, there was major pitting on the bottom of the deck. Now, before I go any further with this...how hard is it to find another steel deck for a Duraforce 2 stroke? The engine runs very good and would hate to trash it. I have called around no 1 around me has any steel decks laying around. Any suggestions?

Give EBay a try, but unless you're lucky, expect to bay eBay prices for a deck. Personally, I'd see if there are any welding shops in my area that could fix it. I'd imagine it would be far less expensive. Let us know how it works out for ya.

Well I was hoping to find somone with a steel deck that has a toasted motor on in and the deck is in good shape. Welding new metal in may be expensive. However, I do have access to a mig welder. It may be cheaper to find another deck.

Ok. You said pin holes, so I thought might be an easy fix. If a donor deck is what you're wanting, keep an eye on eBay and craigslist. Good luck

Just checked eBay. There are a couple Duraforce parts mowers on there that you may be interested in.
