Hello! I have a Craftsman DYT 4000 Rider, and the problem I'm having is the chute attachment for the rear collection/storage buckets. It looks like I've got it all attached & connected to the deck, but nothing seems to go up the chute. Did I miss something? On the chute there's a "windmill like whirly-gig" that moves freely(actually it doesn't move for me while operating). Is that thing suppose to spin if grass is going up the chute? Any help?

The "whirly-gig" is an indicator that grass is flowing thru the tube. When it stops moving, it indicates that either the tube is clogged or the bags are full. Check the tubes to make sure nothing is in them. If it is a new mower, could have some packing paper stuck inside.
