I am working on a Tecumseh LEV115 motor with a broken cam. I've got an LEV120 motor that I am using for parts. I looked up the specific model number of each and it shows the same camshaft part number p/n 34760. I cracked open the LEV120 to scavenge last night and I found a different cam. My cam in the LEV115 is stamped with a "45" and the one out of the LEV120 is stamped with an "80" but they are the same size and lobes are in the right position.......one of the ends of the LEV120 cam is a smaller diameter because it goes into a bushing in the block.

My question is.... Is there any way for me to remove the bushing from the LEV120 block and put it into the LEV115 block and use the scavenged cam. I tried removing it a bit yesterday and it didn't want to move too easily. Am I barking up the wrong tree? or could this under taking be worth the effort.
