I have a TECUMSEH Lawnmower that has developed an oil leak. There is a puddle under the lawnmower. Where is the oil coming from?

Export threadTurn it over and look at the main shaft seal ... that is the most likely spot..
You may get lucky and find the drain plug is loose and leaking. (I doubt it, most engines do not have a drain under the deck)... a quick look will reveal the spot... :smile:KennyV

Thanks KennyV for the quick response- It's a Toro with a Tecumseh engine. Doesn't have a drain plug underneath.
I took it into our local Toro dealer for repair.
