Looking at the pics I think this is just how his mower cuts without a striping kit. As you can see tire marks.

Most all mowers will stripe if your cutting at the proper hight.

Most people cut to short

Here is a picture of my homemade lawn striper. I used 5 inch wobble rollers Taft are used on boat trailers. For the frame I used electrical channel bracket. I have it mounted to the mower using clevis pins. That way it can be removable and gives some play when going up and down hills and bumps. The mower left ok stripes, now with this they are more definitive and vibrant.

#17

We don't double cut but do change direction every week. Some yards checker board really nice. Others are just shaped so weird we just cut one direction. It depends on the treatment cycle our customers pay for to on how green i can get their turf, which helps the stripes really stand out.

Ok......striping question for those in this thread(strictly ZTR mowing). I "hear" some say "mine just stripes naturally" without a striper flap, roller or chains and I think......hmmmmm....gotta be a reason why a Bobcat, Dixie Chopper, etc. stripes "out of the box" and say a Toro, Gravely, etc. doesn't. Could it be deck design, blades used, mulching kits................OR............c'mon fess up........could it remotely/possibly be the "pitch of the deck" when it was leveled???? I'm referring to what is commonly called "heeling the deck"...aka.....getting the blade tips east/west the same height on both sides of the deck(to level the deck) and the front blade tips facing north(at the front) higher(usually 1/4") than the southern blade tip(at the rear). The "conventional" deck leveling calls for a "regular pitch" where the front is 1/4" LOWER than the rear to have the leading edge of the blade cut the grass. Now my Gravely manual mentions a potential better cut when "heeling the deck" but states it requires more engine power pitched that way. It does not elaborate further nor does it imply any "connection" to "striping" lawns. But for some reason I am suspicious that inherently if the back edge of the deck is the lowest point to "contact" remaining/already cut grass blades.....isn't it "possible" that the edge of the deck itself would ever so slightly "bend the remaining grass blades" and therefore produce a striping efect????? If the Bobcat, Dixie Chopper, etc. came from the assembly line/dealer with the deck "heeled" that would explain the "natural striping effect" now wouldn't it. Otherwise, I'm all ears as to what makes them "special". Now my Gravely "naturally" leaves a "path indication' with evidence of the tire tracks on each side(looks like a professional cut but I would NOT consider it a "striping effect"). I just purchased a mulching kit that I am installing over the Labor Day weekend to futher improve the lack of any clippings evidence. The only thing left that I desire to accomplish is to be able to produce striping effect "when I want to". That being said, the "flaps" on the back of the deck are kinda "permanent" so unless you went through a lot of trouble removing/replacng them you would "stripe all the time", the Gravely hex striper roller kit can be raised/lowered, but it is "pricey" and I could always look into a chain striper setup. I am VERY curious(since the Gravely manual mentions it) that if I change my deck pitch from "conventional" to "heeled" I may get a decent striping effect without additional expense(of course that would still be kinda "permanent" too, unless I change the pitch back and forth...also a lot of trouble). I will more than likely purchase the Gravely hex striper(best all-around solution to striping when wanted) before I retire in October...but thought I'd stir up a debate about whether "heeling your deck" will stripe your lawn or not(and it may explain why some ZTR's do it "naturally"). What are everybody's thoughts on this?????????

#45

TaskForceLawnCare

TaskForceLawnCare

All that might work i couldn't tell you, since all our decks are even and some of the stripes are from my walk behind mower pictured below. It takes a few things to all fall into place. We use high lift blades occasionally use gator blades depending on conditions. Blade velocity is another factor along with deck design and how it's baffled. Then there's cutting height i never cut below 4"s it helps the wind velocity created by the deck lay the grass over after it cuts it.

image-1184506031.jpg

#46

BHLC

BHLC

On Toro's YouTube channel they advise to pitch the deck forward to achieve a vacuum affect on the grass... I don't use toro. My ferris ztr has a rubber stripe flap that simply lays the grass over, it works best at 3 1/2", my bobcat on the other hand says to keep the deck level, it is just that! It stripes better than both my ferris's ever could.

Maybe, since you are so good at it, you should advertise to cater to those homeowners seeking the striping effect on their lawns(and......charge extra for it)!!!!

If(when) I get my striper kit I'm gonna make my front yard look like Wrigley Field:0)
And......practice figuring out how to make different patterns/shapes.....although doing it with a push mower like you do that kinda stuff would probably be easier to accomplish. Hmmmmm, there you go, figure out how to "stripe the homeowner's initials into their front lawn"....that would be a big seller:0)

It is his calling.

There are plenty of homeowners that will pay the extra cash to have their yard push mowed.

There are not many people that still use push mowers now everyone uses the big mowers takes longer to take it off the trailer than it does to cut the grass.

My dad always told me..."find a niche in your trade and exploit it"(now he further explained that this doesn't mean take advantage of your "customers" or "employer" because that's not right.....just use your unique skillset to take advantage of "opportunities" to set yourself apart from the "masses that do what you do"...the money will follow). Now all lmf has to do is the exploit part!!

Well I was running my older Honda HRR with super dull blades, but it clumped a lot more than the new HRX. I haven't used it with the sharp ones yet, but it still won't cut as nice. The grass blades might be cut just as cleanly and all, but there would still be clumps.

oh the thing is great. the cut quality is awesome too. if i was in your situation of having alot of yards that only needed a push mower, i would use that one. i wouldnt buy one as a homeowner because i feel its a more professional mower. for that price i would buy a toro personal pace mower, a nice straight shaft echo/stihl trimmer and the small stihl backpack blower (forgot what model). and it would add up to that mower.

Yeah, that second picture on top that has the "brown spot" in the grass is actually the clippings I cleaned out from under the deck two weeks ago after mowing when the grass was still a little wet from raiin(still not a "huge amount" of trapped clippings). This last time(3 or 4 sunny days in the 80's before mowing) there wasn't even half that much. That was one of the things I really disliked about the mulch kit(nothing but a plastic plug over the side discharge opening) on my old Craftsman lawn tractor. When I was finished mowing(wet grass or not), there was about 10 pounds of grass clippings trapped underneath the deck that made a "brown pile" about 4 feet x 4 feet several inches deep:0(
That and since it used to be under a mimosa tree, which I have since removed, the clippings pretty well "killed the grass" in the area where I cleaned the lawn tractor when done mowing. If I make sure I mow when the grass is good & dry I won't have that problem with this mulch kit(my wife actually made a good suggestion to drive the mower over a tarp, clean out the clippings, drive it back off the tarp and then carry the clippings to the garbage......pretty good thinking for a woman.....right:0)

The cut of that mower looks really good! I think if you get the striping kit you might be able to really out-do your neighbor with the Ariens! But it looks nice! Good idea with the tarp...I have done that a few times, but mostly I just do it directly on the ground and then pick up all the clippings. The times I use the tarp is when I don't want my dog eating the clippings that are left on the ground...which he loves to do!

Yeah...I was gonna take some pics of his yard and post them as a comparison(but I'm still jealous that his 15-yr-old Ariens Zoom 42 stripes better than my Gravely:0) He doesn't have a mulch kit though and his wife told mine that last time he mowed, after he had mowed over the windrows 3 or 4 times, he gave up and broke out his lawn sweeper. I am amazed, though, that his little Ariens Zoom has a VERY professional looking cut and stripes out of the box!! Ewwwwwww, grass stew:0)

You buying the Timemaster or Turfmaster?

I am thinking about getting a striping kit for my HRX but don't know if it would be a stress on the transmission @ around 25 lbs.

Go for it lmf!!! If Toro makes it for your mower you should be able to assume that it is safe to use!! Your cuts already look great and with that kit(I seem to recall it's around $90...a easily affordable attachment) your customer's will probably notice/mention the improved look!!!!

Yes it is around $90. The one in the first picture (where the same mower I have is shown) is one where you have to take off the wheels to attach the striping kit (at least I think that's how you do it since it is in between the wheels and the frame). The one on the right is the Toro lawn striper. I like that one better because it just attaches to the handle, and you can remove the roller easily.

It's pretty dry but not parched for sure. The deck on the front side hangs down and think that's what does it. Plus that client has the nicest lawn.

I've always heard those Bobcats were "natural stripers" and that picture confirms that. Hmmmmmmm, level...with most deck leveling recommending the front blade tips 1/8 to 1/4 inch lower(and the vice versa, as you put it...commonly referred to as "heeling the deck"), I just wonder if "any brand" and/or "any deck design" could be altered to the front/rear blade tips being "level" to give a "natural striping" like that Bobcat???? I posted some pics earlier in this thread where it seemed to me that just adding a Gravely mulch kit to mine seemed to change the "after" cut to be "almost striped" when compared to the "before" cut(in reference to adding the mulch kit).

Just curious.......why are you not replacing the Ferris with another Ferris???????
P.S.
I looked at Wrights last Fall....NICE, but pricey. Of course you are a professional, so quality is a little more important than price(not saying you can throw money away, but quality of the equipment is a priority).

Our ferris machines leave a curious little line from the very furthest blade on the left. It cuts the grass but just leaves a line. Not happy with the overall performance. Our bobcat walk behind has an amazing stripe affect, therefore leading us to want to try their z

That's exactly what my toro time cutter does. The front is sloped down, In order to stripe really well. It would be annoying getting it on a trailer but since I don't, I love it.

Aaron

#149

Carscw

For a mower to stripe it's best the deck should be level or heeled. As with any mower you get the best looking cut with a level or heeled deck.
You want to back of the deck to lay the grass down.

If your deck has 3 blades do you ever wonder why it looks like 3 push mower lines? Is because the deck is lower in the front.

Now if your mower is underpowered you want to keep the front lower

Try heeling the deck I will bet you will like the cut so much better ( not saying it does not cut good now ) and how it stripes.

That's the thing it doesn't heel any more. The Front is all the way up, and it's only the front that's curved down the rest is level. I'll take a picture today.

Today using demo bobcat Procat.

I picked up on your post about the Bobcat where the deck pitch was "level" instead of the normal front-lower pitch and when I installed the Gravely mulch kit on my Pro-Turn 152 I also changed it to a "level pitch". I posted some pics earlier where it gave a "mild striping effect"(still not as pronounced as the pictures of your demo Bobcat). Well, I sprung for the Gravely Hex Striper kit this past weekend and the dealer should get it in by the end of this week. He told me the long-range forecast for Middle TN doesn't show any consistent "below 40 degree" nights until the first week of December. He had a commercial customer come in last week and bought 3 brand new Gravely's(at this time of the year the dealer said that was extremely rare). I think I will have plenty of opportunity to post some pics after installing my striper kit and hopefully they will rival some of the better striping pics in this thread. My dealer has really been good about taking care of me(sold me the mulch kit at the 2012 price..about $35 off and sold me the hex striper kit for $199...regular price $238). I am anxious to get it installed and try it out!!!!!

Hi, I write for Farm Show magazine and would liked to interview you for an article about your homemade lawn striper. Please email me at dee_goerge@yahoo.com

I dont hunt from my backyard, even though i could but there is a house over to the left in the back. as long as i shot away to the right i would be all set. i actually do get alot of deer back there because there are hunting trails about a 1/2 mile down the road and it pushes them basically into my yard. i was cutting wood one day with my buddy that lives 2 houses up from me we saw from what it looked like an 8point walking about 50' away. and thanks for the tip. i didnt seed any of my yard because we are getting a new septic system and i didnt know what the excavators are going to rip up. my little tractor cuts alot better then i thought it would.

Thats cool at least you have deer to look at. I think the cut quality off garden tractors has come a long ways in recent years. They just aren't practical for what i do. I wish i had that many trees around my place. I've 3 acres with about a dozen trees. I've 2 acres that we just test products we use or are thinking of using. So basically all i do is mow it and test different herbicides and fertilizers.

No point, just an observation
I was actually coming back to see how longs it lasts, never knew there was such a tool or needed to make stripes in the grass, don't you need to go do some reading and learn more about the harmful effects corn gas?

How much longer does it last and it is more prominent until you mow again?
My stripes are visible up to 6 days if I can wait that long to mow, however on day 7 the striping has lost most of it's visibility, but it is still good enough so I know what direction I mowed the week prior so to change and more the opposite direction that day.
Usually with the normal weather I mow every 5 days, the rain last year had me mowing every 3 to 5 days.

There are no harmful effects from corn gas.

I think it's safe to say the stripes last till the grass grows to tall and should have been cut already.

Every mower will stripe. The stripe kit really was used to eliminate the tire tracks.

Can you post some pics of the striping that JD leaves next time you mow? As has been stated, almost all mowers leave a "mild" stripe naturally...but to get the pronounced effect like seen on baseball fields, etc. most will need modification(deck heeled and/or a striping kit). Pictures would be worth a thousand words.

I sure will, like I said I am just wanting to know more about this since I never knew there were devices to make the stripes while mowing since my mower has striped since I day I had it and I am just hoping which I am sure it will the new one will stripe as good as the Z930A.
I did with the Z960R get the MOD deck for around the house and driveway to eliminate the clippings flying on the driveway and house, so I will report on how that deck works after I get it and mow with it.

Okay tire tracks, next time I mow I will get some photos and I thought the tire tracks actually accented the striping, but I am not a mowing business or anything this is just my place I have to compare to, but there are some property close by to me that do use mowing companies and I cannot say their mowing looks better than mine.
With that said down around the Lexington area the striping is more visible and prominent so I guess that is how they are making it look that way by using these striping kits.

#226

TaskForceLawnCare

TaskForceLawnCare

Nothing special gator blades and 4" cutting height. Yes professionally maintain athletic turf does use rollers striping kits etc to get their pattens. But they also use speciality grasses that would be near impossible to maintain in a residential lawn. Some guys do use stripe kits for more definition but most all commercial mowers will stripe without the assistance of any novelty striping kit. It just takes a healthy lawn and proper cutting height. These newer commercial mowers don't require any toeing or whatever other outdated techniques to accomplish striping. It's caused by tip speed and air volume being pushed under the deck.

Some people like the tire marks. I think it makes it look sloppy with wide tire lines.

You are right most so called pro's don't do any better then most home owners.

Okay well keep the info coming greatly appreciated, on my JD I have teh deck height set to cut 3.25" it is not "scalping" the lawn by any means and actually the grass is higher than what the JD's you buy from lowes or some box store, so is that too high for striping?
Also what does it mean to heal your deck?
My anti-scalp wheels do roll when I am in the grass mowing, but on concrete they do not, they actually are about 3/16" to 1/4" above the concrete.

Sorry to hear you have a JD

But happy to hear you do not scalp your yard. I see it all the time people cutting down to the dirt.

3 inches is good for striping thick blade grass.

When people ask why I heal my deck. I give them a little test. Make one pass with the mower going forward then move over a couple feet and make a pass going backwards at the same speed. On most mowers the backwards pass will look better. There have been a few people come on here and ask why their mower cuts better in reverse.

Anti scalp wheels should sit just like you have them.

You can get creative with striping. Like half moons. Does not always have to be a straight line.

LOL
Well I wanted the new Gravely "new air ride seat", but after looking at it the machine was too manual for mowing for me, levers, pins, etc to set everything vs. the JD everything is right at your finger tips more or less without moving your arm from the arm rest.
My back injury is dictating most of my life now, my weed-eaters are all modified where I lay the head on the ground while keeping my back straight just to weed-eat, heck I had to purchase a self drive push mower just to mow what very little I have to mow using it around the pond edge since my mower is too heavy to get within 2 feet of my pond, my Z930 comes in over a ton with me on it, weight sticker is 1946lb on the machine and I am 220.

I answered your questions in your message best I could. All I can add is that at > $14k MSRP for that JD Z960R MOD you ordered, I would have purchased the Gravely Pro-Turn 400 XDZ(Model#99235) with the Kawasaki FX921V engine and ZT-5400 trasnnies and put the extra $2K in my pocket!!! I believe you would have found the new air ride system to be a comfortable ride.

Oh the 2K is in my pocket, there was one dealer in 50 mile radius that quoted over 14K he was using the JD quoting manual, but rest assured that is not what I purchased it for.
The Gravely 400 is the one I tested and looked at, but like I said too manual for me. The JD has all the controls at my finger tips right there from the chair with the effort of moving my hand over to the controls.

I guess I just wanted a change.

Now I work more and make less money.

I am getting back into doing residential yards. Not for the money but because I enjoy it more.

I have always took a lot of pride doing lawn care. Always had to make my yards look better then the other guys. Doing foreclosed homes has made me just cut as fast as I can and leave.

3 years ago I was taking care of five hundred thousand Dollar homes with snapper push mowers charging by the man hour. Had one house in better homes and gardens. Had some Customers for 14 years.
Woke up one day and sold it all.

Did not miss it till a few months ago.
Plan was to retire next year when I turn 50
Don't see that happening I like cutting grass to much.

Moved last year 2 hours away from the country club of the south so now starting over in a new area.

I've been strongly considering going with Scag mowers. Thanks for the complements I'm over the top picky and it the guys that work for me that last are pretty special.

Get what our sayin man... been through some of those times.

What a great thread.

Lawn striping is the goal for me. And unlike most of my neighbors, I do not cut to the root. Some people mow way too short, especially in the heat and drought of summer. I had a striping attachment when I had a Yardman Lawn Tractor. I only have walk behinds now but I still like the striping and the criss cross striping that forms diamonds like you see at major league baseball parks. As a lawn guy, I always notice the striping when I go to a ballgame or see one in High Def on TV and I always look at the great manicure the groundskeepers give the turf.

I thought only the assclowns around here cut down to the root and leave rows of clippings.

No, Carscw, there are many areas of the country (especially suburbia) where you see so many people with mowers on the lowest cut height setting just scalping the daylights out of healthy grass. I used to travel for a living and I've seen scalped lawns from Maine to California. Makes me sick when I see it. My neighbors on either side of one of my homes (in Suburbia but pretty far out of the city with 3/4 acre lots) cuts to the root on every mow spring-fall. One guy has his John Deer Rider out every other day mowing the living daylights out of his poor lawn cutting right down to the root. Then he complains how he has so much Crabgrass. No kidding. You are weakening your healthy grass and allowing room for weeds to flourish. I've tried to tell him to raise that height about an inch and a half but he says short grass looks better. OK, well, it's his lawn. I just have to spray Crabgrass killer from time to time when his Crabgrass starts creeping into my lawn.

Anyway, Great thread. I rarely read every single post in long threads, but I did in this thread.

#291

i saw that it was upside down I was mowing in Australia that day and used my American camera lol. I like the controls better, the frames are super rigid almost to fault I find them carrying a front wheel a lot. the ride with the scag suspension seat is awesome. they essentially do the same thing though and that's cut a lot of grass. the Scag has its own unique striping which I think is cleaner but I never had issues getting my Dixie's to stripe just had to do more adjusting. I'm not sure they're worth the price difference but I guess time will tell with that. some of my customers acted concerned about my decision to switch over but I think they'll come around to the new color of mower. the little walk behind has an amazing cut quality and doesn't seem to mind a little over grass. still getting used to the controls and length of it though, it the exact opposite of the one we've running for last few years.

What were you doing in AU?

I agree with you with the Scag's, the frames are rigid, The suspension is the best I have had, I think is better than my Exmark's. My Scag's have a cleaner striping too, before I bought my two Scag Turf Tigers, I had two country clippers. They are okay mowers, okay for striping if you know what you're doing. I would recommend them to a beginner or maybe a homeowner.

How are the Scag walk behinds? I want to replace my Snapper walk behind and have been shopping around for one. I want to get an Exmark Turf Tracer, but I do want another Scag product.

i was making a joke because the picture was upside down.

we've always used the better outdoor products walk behinds but they've run into some financial issues in the last couple years and stopped production.

I really like the Scag walk behind so far. it's super fast and the controls are average but the cut quality and ability are amazing. other then that I'd say its like any other walk behind. I think exmark has a more user friendly walk behind. I bought the tiger cat the difference between it and the turf tiger didn't seem like enough for me to justify the cost difference.

I can see it now;

"Hello, XYZ Lawnmowing, can I help you?"

"Umm.... yea, I need my lawn mowed. What color mowers do you guys use?"

"I'm sorry, what are you asking? What are the COLORS of our mowers that we use?"

"Ummm.... yea.... I had a guy that used Red mowers and he did a bad job. So I fired him and got a guy that used Green mowers, and he did an OK, job, but I still fired him and hired a guy that used Orange mowers, and he did a great job, so I want a guy that uses Orange mowers. I'm guessing the were older clients? I had the same thing happen to when when I started using ZTR's instead of my walk behind mowers with a sulky. If it wasn't for taking a little longer and being more fatigued, I would only use walk behind mowers.

Why do they never cut a putting green the same way everytime ?

Because it is not good for the grass.

Mow south to north one time and west to east the next time but never the same path twice in a row.

can you post one? also on the properties where we can, we alternate direction every other week. your issue with stripe kits sounds like a personal issue, personally I don't buy, build or use one on any of my mowers. however they have there place, and I can respect the persons that use them. if you've only experienced having to "train" the grass try adjusting your cutting height, blade type, ect or maybe a different brand mower. I've looked at tons of great jobs on this site.

Was waist high 4 weeks ago.

If you look close you can see where I put clippings. On the first cut.

That is one good thing about bank owned homes. Don't have to remove the clippings just make it look ok.

We run two mowers on tall grass.
First one runs high lift blades. The. Second one cuts it again with gator blades.

Can make it look good on the first cut if the grass is dry.

Tall grass hurts the whole mower.

Spindle bearings is what gives me problems. But I can replace all 6 for $20
Only had to replace them once this year.

Waist tall is $600 half acre. Takes around 2 hours.

I run my deck belts a half inch shorter.
I only use briggs engines because they don't bog down as much as others and they handle the abuse.

I love cutting overgrown yards and hills.
Its a Challenge.

Yes.

Anything over 3 feet you can bid.

Any thing over a foot is extra cash.

1000s of them but not all are Safegaurd homes.

I just talked to a guy just got on with Safegaurd. They give him 5 trash outs a week. That's good money but I love cutting grass to much.

I didn't know working for Safeguard was that good money.

Just have to know how to work them.

Bid the work high. They sit on it till the town gives them a violation then they have to pay to get it done.

You would think they would just offer half of the bid price and get done now.

I double everyone of my bids.

So a yard I would do for $300 I bid for $600 and get $400.

A recut pays $35
I sub them out for $25
I have over 300 weekly recuts.

If the lighting was better you would be able to see the yard closer to the camera is a tad bit greener, but they put more fertilizer on it, and have more trees to keep it from burning out in the summer. I'm just waiting for them to complain that they don't like when I cut the 2 yards as one because they don't know where their property line is!

The way I made my photo inserted full-size into the post was by making a photo album on this site, and then going up to the picture frame icon, clicking "from URL", and putting the image link in. If you want to be able to click on the photo to make it larger you can go up to the paper clip and insert it from there. Let me know if you need more help with that.

Thank you. I wanted to learn how to step things up. The one stripe out and two stripes back is on my lawn and like I said the first set washed out. Was supposed to be a diamond pattern. You can barely see some of the reverse angle stripes.

I think as far as the album goes I saw something that said the pictures wouldn't show up for two hours. Not sure why either.

He's been with us for 3 years, he has funny quarks, but is dependable, works his tail off and doesn't beat on the equipment. He complains right away about anything going on that shouldn't be going on. I like that because I expect absolute perfection from every job.

One is he takes ownership of what's on his trailer, has a specific string trimmer, and blower that's "his". He has specific place he parks his truck and always backs in. He'll only use a specific sprayer that ones "his". I get a kick out of him so I let it go on.

Our newest employee has never set on a ZTR. He manages all our sales, marketing and customer relations. He actually doesn't even officially start until the 1st. But to our website down to make changes. Take payments through the website all craziness to me. I never thought I'd see the day.

You'll get there just keep at it and have a no compromise on quality drive. I'm not afraid to say without the right people involved and good credit to start an open line, I would be in the same rut wanting to grow. My equipment is all paid for, but the right people cost money and it's going to cost money to keep growing. I hate borrowing money but it's the reality of the costs of business today.

We have to spend some to make some. Nothing wrong in getting a line of credit. Not always fun, but very useful.

These yards always look good but fortunately for me, none of my customers care. "As long as it's cut."

You mow that whole yard with a 21in mower? You obviously don't live in the southeast! 90+ degrees, and 100% humidity... I remember when I had the energy to push mow that yard! Looks great!!

Are you talking to me? I actually do mow everything (right now) with a push mower. 21" until I can get my 22" (Little Blacky) fixed. Temps have gotten into the 90's this summer with very high humidity. I think Saturday's mow, around 1 PM (2nd and 3rd yards of the day) were "the most humid I've worked in all summer."

I usually change socks after a mow (like Lt. Dan said!) and on occasion, it's it hot enough and secluded enough, I change underclothes too! It's been a very humid summer.

Not as humid as my times in southern and southeast Asia, but pretty humid.

My losing 10 pounds in the spring and hitting the gym for 1.5 hours of daily sweating exercise really prepared me for this side job.

Gotta love when the mower leaves a good cut.
What i hate is when you are doing great and all of a sudden you hit a ( pot hole ) and it throws your mower off line. Aggravating to say the least.

Would someone show me where the stripes look better than not? I may be old fashioned but extreme stripes look like crap In my opinion. Yeah I know, let the flames begin.
