starter fuse on Yardman 46in Mower model 13bt604 H755 1623466

Can't seem to locate the fuse between battery and ignition switch. Mower won't start with key but can start by jumping battery to starter.

Because 754-0350 is a BELT-V 5/8 X 64.5. We need the actual model of the mower which start with 13 or 14. Many MTD riders the fuse is located on the rear panel near the starter solenoid. Usually a no start on these mowers is either a safety switch or starter solenoid as the mower runs by starting at the starter the fuel solenoid at the carburetor is getting power.

Open the hood and look next to metal shroud that encases the steering wheel, fuses are often clipped to it there. Just break out a flashlight, there has got to be a fuse. Also, look under seat if battery is located there, may even need to take battery out to find fuse.

MTD provides no information on the wiring of this 2005 Walmart mower. But experience would suggest it is located on the rear drawbar panel near the starter solenoid. Note you as previously said the mower will run after manually starting it so that suggest the fuse is good as the engine's fuel solenoid must receive 12v to operate.

Just to clarify, it will start when jumping from battery to starter, will not start with key and amp meter does show anything when using key but after jump starting shows battery charging.
