I bought a 1983 Snapper rear engine rider. The muffler doesn't seem to be original and doesn't muffle anything. I'm trying to find out which exhaust I need and hopefully which engine I have (engine has been painted all black, but appears to have white underneath). Number which was stamped on the block is 25270706760183120210.
the exhaust on that snapper would have been supplied by snapper and not the engine manufacturer. check with a local engine dealer and he would be able to assist you in coming up with the correct exhaust to fit that application.

the engine numbers are on the shroud near the sparkplug.....i have an '88 with a can style.....you can see it here on the "should i buy " thread:wink:
