Hello all,
I'm a newbie hereand it's lame to start out by asking questions!. I have the Snapper 21401P 21" 4 HP Steel Deck (80`s) Series and the muffler is TOAST!!!. I have searched high and low and can't find one that looks like the one that is on my mower.
Does anyone know where to find one at a reasonable price?
Oh and by the way when I got the old one off a bunch of stuff was rattling around in side and I blew through it and there is no resistance at all............ should there be?
On most mowers the muffler is part of the mower so you are subject to small production numbers forcing up the price.
Because of the small numbers it is uneconomic for aftermarket suppliers to make them so there is no competition to push prices down.
Double whammy.
