Just purchased my first Simplicity tractor. Model 1692450 with an 18hp 2cyl. Koehler
Engine. It starts and runs for approx. 3 minutes and then dies. When I look down the carb throat I can see gas stop flowing just before it dies. If I spray starting fluid it will continue to run. I know it has fuel delivery and the electrical seems good. There is a small round object at the base of the carb with a single wire attached to it. If I unplug
it dies just like when it does it on its own. Any thoughts?
