Short block replacement on a LB 5024 engine????????????????

Hello LB people:
I am about to begin the task of replacing the engine on my 5024 LB mower. I am asking for tips and information re. this job. I looked at the service manual and it looks quite involved and time consuming.

Yes, the short block is the correct replacement.
