Hello,
While mowing, My scag mower controls on the right side failed. I only had control operation on the left side. The indications of the right control lever was that it went limp with zero affect when attempting to use it. The right side control lever handle range of movement was normal, just zero results. I'm trying to figure out if the hydraulic pump quit or if it may be the hydraulic motor on the right side. There is no sign of a leak of hydraulic fluid anywhere.
How should I test the pump?
Also.... I can't seem to locate a parts breakdown for the hydraulic pumps.
Any help or ideas would be very much appreciated.
