A friend of mine who is 75 recently fell and broke five ribs while using his Stihl trimmer. He said that he landed on the engine, because the strap/harness would not allow him to release the trimmer to get away from it.
I was wondering if anyone sells or makes a release mechanism to prevent this. I am thinking of something that would release after a moderate amount of force.
