How important is the ROPS? The Ultra 52" does not have one. The dealer says they are only really need for going up steep slopes or ramps. On hills they are more likely to slide.

I had mine up and installed for about 5 minutes ... just about killed myself cuase it was catching on tree limbs that I thought I was able to go under. Being the 1st time on ZT ... I was more worried about not hitting the trees going forward and steering it correctly then turning back to see if it was going to hit. Have since lowered it in half and thinking about just removing ... acre and half ... pretty level but got 50 some oak and jack pines ... very small dip between main yard and road.

I think if you got property that is questionable where you think you might flip it ... then yes ... 600lbs is something I would not want to mess with. Timm

If you don't have any hills and you DO have low branches, a ROPS can be more dangerous. But if you have hills, use the ROPS, but trim the low hanging branches.
