Replacing Spark Plug Wire for Toro Recycler Push Mower

I have a Toro Recycler walk behind mower and I believe I have to replace the spark plug wire. It is rusted on the inside and a piece of the metal fell out. Won't start. How do I get the top part of that wire off the engine? Does the entire block have to come off? I included a picture. Thank you.

You can't replace the spark plug wire without replacing the ignition coil. However, you can replace the end of the wire.

The end of the wire is a metal clip that's crimped onto the wire. Pull off the rubber cap (it's just a friction fit) and you'll see what I mean.

Some plug wires are replaceable into the coil. Just see if you can screw out the old wire. If not I agree with primerbulb120 and replace the just the wire end or the coil.

Thanks for the help. I ended up replacing the end only and it worked great.
