Does anyone have experience with "Redhawk" commercial, walk-behind mowers? If so:
- was it the gear drive version or the hydraulic version?
- what is your opinion of them?
I'd be grateful to hear opinions of anyone who has used one.

Thanks!

I use a Cub Cadet commercial walk behind G1336 and it's a great little mower, no complaints. The Redhawk has a 15hp Kohler and the CC runs a 13hp Kawasaki if you compare the spec's you'll find that other than motors they're basically the same thing as with most walk behinds.
They both use the same Peerless 5spd gear boxes. If I were thinking about buying the Redhawk the thing that would concern me would be the warranty, it's only a one year and most commercials are at least two year and that kinda puzzles me.

Ric,

Thanks for the reply. I hadn't really given the warranty much thought. But, you raise a good point. I need to give that consideration more thought.

Thanks again!
