Has anyone changed the ReadyStart® Engine to manual choke? If so what is the procedure? Thanks

Does not want to start when cold. Have to pour gasoline into carb at the breather. Snapper re100, b&s 1000 series engine. Starts good after 1st start.

Its possibly a carb/fuel related issue and turning to manual may not do anything. Give carb a clean.
Also Iv never seen a manual choke version of the 1000 series so you may have to make something yourself (lever/cable) but carb probably not designed to.
