Hello all
I have a Poulan Pro 22hp 48 inches Tractor
Today I noticed that when I lift the right foot of the forward drive pedal the tractor did not stop and kept going. The same happened when I used the reverse drive pedal.
Later on the same day the forward drive pedal stop to work and I have to return backwards to the garage.
Any ideas what is wrong, I have use it only 26 hours!
If this is a new unit, do nothing and take it in for warranty repair. Do not attempt to repair, as you may void the warranty. If it is an older unit, I would be checking for the following. Missing or broke motion return spring, bad belt, bad idler pulley or pulleys, bad or frozen variable speed pulley and lack of lubricant on moving parts. If you need more help, report back your findings, plus the units model and serial numbers.
