no power 2008 661 kaw

started fine this spring was letting it warm up at high idle then it died started right back up but no power spraying gas out of carb and no power ?? started looking, carb was spotless inside, valve lash was good, tore down farther found mice had chewed wires for #1 coil replaced it and repaired wiring, still same thing, even disconnected other coil ,same thing. compression test 100+ lbs.???? help and it seems to idle fine
