Try taking the wire and clip off the coil and see if you get fire then. Could be a wire grounding out and killing the coil and thus the fire to the plug. If the engine gets fire then, you need to trace down the wire going out of the coil and find the worn spot on it and either replace the wire or tape it with electricians tape and make sure it doesn't rub on anything or ground out again.
