I took a small engine course a few years ago since I own and manage several rental properties. Most of the mower, snow blower repairs were carb-related problems and therefore I had no need to look online for help. I ran across this web site and happened on to a blog about a sticking intake valve. It helped me immensely, am truly grateful, and I now know the symptoms of backfiring through the carburetor. I own several Honda mowers because they seem to last (my personal choice) and parts are not too expensive and easily acquired either through local outlets or online web sites. I plan to visit often...that's my story! I will contribute what I know, when I can. :thumbsup:
