Newbie - Delivery Question

Hey all. I'm the new proud owner of a new (supposed to be) John Deere X320, 42 inch blades (2011 Model).

My surprise was to see 1.0 hour on the motor. Seemed like the delivery guy was surprised too.
What was others experience - have I been given a used mower for new price?
It's clean and looks new, just checking.

Old mower was a HD Scotts, ten years old.

WELCOME to LMF...
The hour meters are not necessarily indicating engine run time....
They are showing "key in the on position" time.

Don't worry too much about it, someone likely left the key "ON" with the engine not running...

I agree, when I first got my tractor I forgot to turn the switch all the way off and ended up with an extra 8 hours before noticing the error. I unpluged the meter and made up the hours. It now back on track. One hour should not be a problem.
