I have used my JD X304 for ten years now. I bought it new for $3,600. I believe I overpaid just for the name, and my son wanted this model. I said OK because he would do the mowing most of the time. He has grown up and has his own family now so I am giving the JD to him. It is still in very good condition for 10 years old. I did the research and decided I wanted a Cub Cadet (very affordable with nice features) for the value. I am still awaiting delivery in about one week. I am very much looking forward to delivery day. I hope that I won't be disappointed.
