Hey guys new to the forum here.

Just purchased a house last July with estimated 3 acres to mow. Yard is mostly flat with 8-10 trees to mow around.
No real hills or inclines but do have really thick grass that grows crazy fast. I work long hours so it is sometimes challenging
to find the daylight to get it done.

Because of this, I have to use a lawn sweeper to keep it looking good (just purchased this spring, All-Fit 50").

I currently have a 2012 Cub Cadet LTX 42" with 176 Hours. With this mower it takes me approximately 2.5 hours to mow, not including
trim or sweeping.

I have an opportunity to purchase a 2007 Cub Cadet RTZ 50" zero turn. This mower has 305 hours and was bought new by a guy I work with.
He is the head of maintenance at my manufacturing facility so I know it is well maintained. Also, it was purchased from a dealership his father in law owns (not a big box store). We haven't settled on a price but he has said he would let it go for less than $1000.

So my questions are:

1) Is this a good deal?
2) How much time could I save going to the zero turn?
3) Are the hours a concern on the RTZ?
4) Could my lawn sweeper be used with the RTZ?

Thanks in advance !

Mike

1. Yes
2. Half of your mowing time at least.
3. That low of hours no.
4. Yes and will work well.
