Hey, y'all- I joined this forum to learn about ZT's, as I'm shopping for my first one. I live in upstate SC, near the NC border. We have 7-1/2 acres of mostly woods, and about an acre of 'farm lawn' (whatever comes up). For the last few years, I've been mowing with an ancient Snapper rider, but it finally died at the end of last season.

Other 'yard' equipment includes a Ford 3000 tractor, Husky weedeater, Stihl blower, and lots of attachments for the tractor, including a bush hog, plow, disc, post hole digger, and an 8" chipper. The new ZT will strictly be used to mow.

Among may other interests, I've got several old Cub Cadets, including two Originals, and two Model 70's.

Welcome to the forum Jay I think you'll enjoy your visits, I'm sure you'll get several opinions about a Z mower from the fellas that own them, I personally DON'T own a Z mower, BUT .. IF I did have the money ( always that PITA issue ) I think I'd take a pretty close look at these babies..
