54" deck....at least I think that's the culprit. I've sprayed it with synthetic lube and it goes away but of course it doesn't last. I suppose I could grease the Bolt but it's going to pick up a bunch of extra dirt eventually? Anyone else experience it.... it makes quite a racket.

I use to have a similar problem with a JD, what I did was pop in some heavy grease. This gave it both lube and sticks to hold the roller. Now the bolt/roller did pick up extra dirt and grass, but that was not as much of a problem as the knock knock knock knock knock knock LOL :laughing: . Try it if not raise the bolt up a notch.
