i have just bought an Allis Chalmers 917. It has a hole in the block. I need a used or rebuildable motor for this tractor. Can anyone help me here? Dave

I think that mower had a single cylinder Kohler engine...
They are around used... You might check if you have a garden tractor pulling club in your area. They usually have members that keep engines available...
