Need help with wiring safety swithces to briggs and stratton engine

I am restoring my 1991 model Montgomery wards Signature Elite mower built by MTD. Wards model # is TM0 3000 with serial # 87-000-7837. MTD cross over # is 131a670g000. Engine is Briggs 18 HP opposed twin model # 422708 type# 1510-01 engine code # 90121712.
I have completely rebuilt the engine, re-mounted it and in process of connecting wiring. The magneto/coil extension wire is connected to the small bolt on upper left side of # 1 cylinder breather assembly as shown in my repair manual.
Mt question is this; All safety switch wires are yellow and terminate into one yellow wire toward front of the engine with a small round connector on the end. Does this connector also connect to the bolt where the magneto/coil extension wire connects? My wiring diagram is not clear on this.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
