I purchased this mower in the spring from a friend. Have had to replace drive belt every month or 2. Today I decided to tear it down since I can do without it for the rest of the year. My friend paid a shop to put the motor on since the other was blow up before I bought it.Everything looks fine so I put a new belt on had one of my guys start mower while I was under it (mower on jack stands) I noticed a bit of run out on the clutch and drive pully. The crank is bent not severe but its bent bad enough to cause belt problems. Since the rest of the zmaster is in great shape my options are crank or new motor .

Can your friend tell you how long ago the shop put in the new motor? I might be thinking about asking them what they think about installing a bent crank engine if it was recent. Wonder if the engine got dropped at some point in time or if it was bad from the get go.
