I pickup this 10 30 up and need to find out about it.
502.256172 is the sears # Has a Tecumseh 10 Hp.
143-346062. I may need a flywheel assy. as the plastic
fins are braking off from sun rot. Both rear tires are bad.
I really need a manual for it. I found an old ad for a 1969
that is a close match. Model 9-2502 (?) Any info.?

Thanks Rivets. I go there for parts lookup, but I need the original manual.
I need to know how to remove the deck correctly.

To my knowledge you should be able to get an owners manual on that site.

I need to know the correct throttle cable routing.
So far I have a bad starter (RUST), a broken plastic motor cooling fins and the two rear tires.

I got the engine running today:smile: Needs some help. Is the choke normally open or closed?
It is hard to get it right with the throttle cable.
I replaced the two rear tires, the starter, and cooling fin (EBAY).
Used an older battery I had, jumper-ed the safety
switches and it turned over. Cleaned and cleaned and then cleaned the carburetor. It had a
tar like gunk in most of the orifices and both the throttle and choke shafts were stuck.
