Hi.
I have an old Murray ride on(B&S rear mounted engine), which was sold in the UK labeled as a Mountfield 7, 25".
I need advice on a problem with the clutch mechanism. The mower was stood for quite a while before I acquired it, When put in gear it either does not move or "kangaroos".
Does any one have a manual for this mower or any useful advice on how to fix the problem?
Check the belts, there may be a chunk missing, it looks like some have a variable drive pulley... check it to see that if is moving smoothly and that the wide belt is moving through it's full travel... that belt may be the one missing some chunks....
