Do you keep your Lawn Mower filled with fuel during winter and start it up every now and then, or run it out of fuel and leave it sitting ?

I can't believe this thread or poll hasn't had more of a response than this.

My main mower & tractors are Diesel... But the gasoline engined things I have always just left fuel in them... Never a problem. :smile:KennyV

All my equipment is garage kept so I leave the gasoline in all my mowers and handheld stuff I never drain them. I make sure they're full and run them during the winter months on occasion.

I fill everything up, put in a good dose of Stabil and run them until I can smell the Stabil in the exhaust. After I put them in their winter storage spots, I pull the battery if it has one and basically don't touch it again until spring. I've been doing this for years without any issues.
