What do you use to coat the under side of a mower deck? I have a 1995 LX 178 JD and the deck is getting pretty rusty underneath, I was going to paint it but I hope there is something more durable out there. Thanks,

Clean it up and coat it with a rust converter like POR-15... POR-15 RUST CONVERTER
There are other brands that work equally as well.. :smile:KennyV

as Kenny said,rust converter which you can get at TSC and auto parts stores and I also use MoDeck a spray on lubricant you can also get at TSC,others have suggested PAM.The stuff you spray on your skillett.Never tried it but some swear by it...russ
