I have inherited a Mountfield Hydro 1228H. It started and I drove it into the garage at the end of last season. Now I thought I would get it ready for the season. I charged the battery and the ignition light came on. with the SEat, cutting deck and grass catcher micro swiches depressed, nothing happened when I turned the key. So I took off the covers and found a birds nest of wiring! I crossed the solenoid terminals and after a couple of turns of the engine, the ignition light went out, so assumed that maybe there was fuse somewhere that had blown. Obviously I will need to try and find out what wires go where, as some are just loose and not attached to anything! I cannot seem to find any wiring diagrams specefic to this machine, so any advice would be most welcome. I have attached some pictures. Thanks, Terry
