My 2011 226V has a rear guard that has 'Grasshopper' cut into the steel (see first picture). Very nice, but I was certain that I would eventually back into something and bend up the letters. I added two sheets of 1/4" plate steel behind the guard to toughen up the guard and add some weight and I also added a piece of 2 1/2" angle iron for a hitch mount. That added a total of 43 lbs of weight and I think the red paint jazzed up the cutout, too. I also ordered a light switch so that I could wire up a connector to run back to my tank sprayer to run the pump. Wire harness fits under the seat when not in use. Pictures hopefully show what I did and if there is interest I can add more detail.
Update: I also added more weight with this ROPS mod: http://www.lawnmowerforum.com/grasshopper-forum/18999-mod-fixed-rops-system.html
