I have a Cub Cadet LTX1050VT (24hp Briggs) and I am looking for the best mulching setup for this mower. The manual shows that the blades are 2 in 1 with a mulching plug as an option. Cub Cadet (MTD rather) offers extreme mulching blades which look similar to Gators. I know from my experience with a Toro ZTR that their mulch kit includes a plug, baffles and a set of low lift blades. Also, many commercial users with Gators on their machines still side discharge. So with all of this confusion, what setup would yield the best mulching performance from my 50" 3-blade deck? High, medium, low lift, mulching specific blades, with or without plug..... Help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
